Watercolor CookiesWatercolor Cookies was born when I decided to make a bunch of paintable cookies as a donation to my children's annual preschool auction. The response was overwhelming! More moms reached out to me to make paintable cookies as a birthday party activity, and suddenly I was in business.
I spent my career in the bakery and catering business before having triplets. Nowadays I bake as a fun side-hustle to my regular job. I love creating new designs for kids. I hand-cut cookies for kids when I couldn’t find a cookie cutter in their desired shape. "Dinosaurs in Space" (hand cut custom designed) is my favorite cookie request to date! Cottage BakeriesA cottage bakery is a small, legal business that sells baked goods prepared in the home kitchen that is not subject to state inspection. Owners are often mothers who find that selling baked goods allows them to generate income while managing their family life. Some have websites, some use Instagram, and many sell strictly by word of moth—just email them!
